"This has been my saving grace. I have been trying to come up with something and now found this accidentally. Thank you!"
~ TpT Customer

"Wow! Exactly what I was looking for. I teach ages 3-6 in a Montessori classroom. The kids were talking about "disgusting swamps" so I decided to put together a wetlands unit. I'm so glad I found this resource! They love it!!! Thank you Montessori Nature for once again coming to my rescue. My shelves look amazing and my kids are thoroughly engaged." ~ TpT Customer

"This is a fabulous product! My students love learning the facts. Thank you so much for your hard work and making it affordable."

Teachers Pay Teachers

What really makes a teacher is love for the human child; for it is love that transforms the social duty of the educator into the higher consciousness of a mission.

Maria Montessori

All content on this blog—including nature exploration, practical life, loose parts play, printable activities, cooking ideas, and all downloadable resources—is designed for children with active, caring adult supervision every step of the way. You know your child best, and you are always responsible for their safety. Please keep in mind: Some natural items (berries, mushrooms, leaves, seeds, or plants) can be harmful if touched or eaten. Small parts of any kind (such as buttons, beads, pebbles, acorns, or loose parts) can pose a choking risk. All activities must be developmentally appropriate for the individual child’s age and abilities. Before exploring, cooking, or playing, check your environment and materials for potential dangers. This blog shares general educational ideas and is not a substitute for professional medical or safety advice. By using this site, you agree to take full responsibility for your own actions and the well‑being of the children in your care.

I acknowledge this land. I live, work, and play on the unceded lands of the Gubbi Gubbi and Jinibara peoples — the Traditional Custodians of the coastal plains and hinterlands for tens of thousands of years, and the oldest continuing culture in the world. Their ancestors cared for this earth for thousands of generations, and I strive to learn from that example. I aim to show respect through action — by teaching the children in my care to appreciate this land, listen to its stories, and care for it, following the example set for so long.
