American Indians – Montessori History and Culture Cards include
1) A set of eighteen four-part cards with the historical overview of American Indians of the Southwest featuring museum photographs and the detailed artwork created by John Frederick  Huckel in 1920 in the book “American Indians – first families of the Southwest”.  The images display daily customs and traditions of American Indian tribes. Use 3-part cards for students aged 3-5. Older students may enjoy reading information cards to learn more about the different traditions of the native tribes.

2) Twenty-two cards with examples of visual arts by indigenous peoples of the Americas. Bind into a book or display for children to observe.

This set of printables can be a great addition to North America and Thanksgiving Unit.
